Bike sharing – Chinese version of Uber, seems simple but challenging.
I am so excited to see this is happening in more and more Chinese cities. It’s a extremely thriving revolution for those frequent commuters from bus stops or metro stations to their workplace or home which is normally within 1 mile. Not only it solves the last mile headache with little expense, but it’s environmentally friendly. Whenever I see Mobike – the pioneer of this inspiration, running on lanes or streets, no matter it’s early morning or late at night, I feel as warm as orange – its symbolic color. Just as Mobike founder Ms. Hu Weiwei simply put it: a city is happy with bike riding.
Though as a huge fan of Mobike, I have no idea how many Mobikes are there, yet it’s my top option for short distance commuting wherever it’s available. Unlike the old song “Nine million bicycles” by Katie Melua, Mobike just took off a tiny step yet it already embraced a great leap for the joy it brought to its numerous users.
